About the Artist

Anna is a creator in each dimension of her life whether delivering yachts & sailboats through technical far away passages as mate and even skipper or working in photography as both Cyanotype teaching artist & photographic portrait artist.

Teaching Philosophy

Anna's philosophy in teaching is engagement first, with SEL social emotional learning embedded into her programming through RAISE, an intensive teaching artist training, a trauma focused lens Anna's adapting classes to nourish mental health.

Program Description

Students become photographers, capturing digital images and processing them digitally as negatives. Their digital negatives are printed on full-size transparency paper. Students use ultraviolet light to expose their negative onto cyanotype paper and develop it in water creating a positive cyanotype photograph.
