S@nando Mundos (Healing Worlds Through Sound) Less

Edna Vazquez is a singer-songwriter, poet and musician who performs original compositions that pay homage to her Latin American influences with a passion that comes through in every note of her music. Well-versed in the Mexican folk tradition, Edna weaves the sounds of her youth with her own contemporary music to tell her story of immigration and resilience. She explains the context and cultural significance of the music and lyrics, inviting the audience to reflect on how they can overcome adversity through art. Each performance leaves 10-15 minutes for questions from the audience.
