About the Artist
Jess Graff has delivered arts-based programs in the Pacific NW for nearly 15 years. She has participated in many gallery shows and residency programs at schools, art centers, and museums. Her work ranges from sculptural ceramics to fibers and paint media.
Teaching Philosophy
Jess Graff is passionate about creating accessible, equitable classroom spaces and choice-based arts experiences that invite people of diverse ages and backgrounds to collaborate, create, and communicate together.

Program Description
Mammals, reptiles, and birds oh my! Spark your curiosity as you learn about animals and their environments. Using ethically sourced natural history specimen, including mammal skulls and underwater creatures, observe and create detailed artwork while creating connections about organisms and their environments. Jess will also share skills for scientific illustration, painting, and field observation.
