Program Description
Chillin’ThePoet will teach students creative writing while building their self confidence, and providing useful and practical skills for school and life. Chillin'ThePoet motivates students to find their voice through creative expression with activities that meet the kids where they're at and focus on their creative strengths. At the end of the program, the class' writing will be collected into a book that the students will edit. Once that is done the book will be sent to be bound. Each student will receive a copy of the book.
