Program Description
Repujado or embossing is an art form practiced globally while certain regions specialize in it. In this residency Christian will teach students how to create a drawing and talk about repujado and its cultural origins in the regions of Guadalajara, Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico. Students will then transfer their drawing onto aluminum or copper and color it with paint or marker to make a repujado of their own.
This program may be done as a residency or a single session workshop.
