About the Artist

Anna is a creator in each dimension of her life whether delivering yachts & sailboats through technical far away passages as mate and even skipper or working in photography as both Cyanotype teaching artist & photographic portrait artist.

Teaching Philosophy

Anna's philosophy in teaching is engagement first, with SEL social emotional learning embedded into her programming through RAISE, an intensive teaching artist training, a trauma focused lens Anna's adapting classes to nourish mental health.

Program Description

Students become photographers, capturing digital images and processing them digitally as negatives. Their digital negatives are printed on full-size transparency paper. Students use ultraviolet light to expose their negative onto cyanotype paper and develop it in water creating a positive cyanotype photograph.

How to Schedule Programs

Performance | Residency | Workshop

Delivery Method	Component Name	Cost	Participant Capacity	Description
In-Person	Residency Session	$100.00	33	Residency session prices are based on a 50 minute session. Some artists may prefer different session lengths and will pro-rate the cost.
In-Person	Workshop Session	$100.00	33	Workshops can be one or two sessions per class. Each session is 50 minutes long.
In-Person	Family Arts Night Workshop	$200.00	33	A 90 minute workshop for students and families, typically in the evening or on weekends.
	Planning Meeting	$100.00		An in person planning meeting with partnering teachers is required for residencies.
	Additional Planning	$100.00		Additional planning time with teachers or volunteers, etc.
	Prep Hours	$86.00		Time spent on activities in support of the program (e.g. setting up/cleaning a classroom, research, curriculum development, etc.). Plan on 2-4 per classroom.
	Culminating Event	$100.00		Artist time to oversee a student performance, gallery event, etc.
	Mileage/Travel Costs			Artist charges 50¢ per mile for travel from the 97212 zip code. Lodging required for sites greater than 40 miles.
	Supplies			$4-$9 per student.
	Media Editing/Copying/Uploading	$86.00		1-3 hours per classroom (assuming one day of capture).
	iPad Rental Fee			$10/iPad. If schools have access to iPad the $10/iPad rental can be waived: this covers all upkeep costs and prepping the iPads for use.
