About the Artist

Rachel Lidskog-Lim, a professional dancer, singer, and choreographer since 1989, boasts two Bronze medals from the USA Nationals and Worlds Championships. With extensive international experience, she teaches various dance styles with a genuine smile!

Teaching Philosophy

Rachel fosters empowerment through arts, creating a safe, inclusive space. Students find joy in dance, gain confidence, respect, and cultural knowledge, fostering compassion and building strong, caring communities.

Program Description

Students discover the joy of dance and teamwork to build self-confidence and mutual respect, acquire skills in math, music, etiquette, cooperation and safety, and develop spatial awareness, improved motor skills, posture, a sense of physical presence and poise to boost self-esteem. Students enrich their knowledge in math, music, history, geography and cultural traditions by learning dances from countries around the world. This journey of cultural discovery through dance will bring delight and community connection to the classroom.

How to Schedule Programs

Performance | Residency | Workshop

Delivery Method	Component Name	Cost	Participant Capacity	Description
In-Person	Residency Session	$143.00	30	A residency is a program with 3 or more sessions per classroom. Residency session prices are based on a 50 minute session. Some artists may prefer different session lengths and will pro-rate the cost.
In-Person	Workshop Session	$160.00	30	Workshops can be one or two sessions per class. Each session is 50 minutes long.
	Planning Meeting	$65.00		An in person planning meeting with partnering teachers is required for residencies.
	Additional Planning	$65.00		Additional planning time with teachers or volunteers, etc.
	Prep Hours	$65.00		Cost per hour spent on activities in support of the program (e.g. setting up/cleaning a classroom, research, curriculum development, etc.). Plan on 1 hour per day for a single grade level or 1/2 hour per grade per day for multiple grades.
	Mileage/Travel Costs			IRS rate per mile round trip from the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood. This program is available within 15 miles of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood. Greater distances possible with additional fees.
