Growing up outside of Missoula, Montana her K-8 was community art infused. When not working Anna can often been seen camping and traveling in her pink teardrop trailer she designed and created single-handedly during the pandemic. She’s driven by the storms that bring snow to the mountains allowing her snowboarding soul to connect with the power of nature at its finest. In the summer she is dancing, paddle boarding, gardening, creating, camping, and stargazing.

Anna’s inspiration is infectious and she uses this to engage and teach.. Anna’s also a part of a nationally funded course RAISE of selected applicants across the nation who will take SEL, social emotional learning and working with doctors in a he areas of mental health and trauma she is recreating each of her programs to be infused with the core elements needed to become healthy, engaged, and inspired students. Teaching Philosophy

Anna’s philosophy in teaching all of her Cyanotype programs is always engagement first, with a hands on, empowering format her classrooms give students choices that suit their unique and individual needs. She is bringing SEL social emotional learning into her programming through a nationally funded course she was selected for called RAISE, an intensive teaching artist training with a trauma focused lens. Anna is an empath and quickly picks up on key ways to engage even the most hesitant or challenged students. She aims to create an environment where students can contribute, practice, choose, tinker, encounter, integrate, envision, connect, evaluate, and describe their experience.

experience, we learn
from reflecting on
