Artist Biography
As a self-taught kiln-formed glass artist, Lisa began in the medium when the field of kiln-formed glass was in its infancy and is therefore self-taught. Lisa’s teacher workshops share a method of allowing students to experience the joys and excitement of working with glass without the steep learning curve required to master the technical aspects of kiln-formed glass.
Teaching Philosophy
Lisa believes that the very best way to learn is by doing and her residencies are filled with opportunities to experience glass in many ways which results in a deep understanding of the potential of the material.
