Artist Biography
Canoofle has been playing and teaching improvised music in Portland (and up and down the West Coast) since 1999. With, literally, thousands of songs created during our live performances, Canoofle is the most flexible and fun musical group you’ll ever see.
Teaching Philosophy
Our goal is to inspire students to write their own music and lyrics, and give them the tools to do so. We emphasize trial and error as well as an “anything goes” attitude toward creativity.
