Program Description
Students enrich their knowledge in history, geography and cultural traditions by learning dances from countries represented in the school community, family cultural origins or class curriculum. Students discover the joy of dance and team work to build self-confidence and mutual respect, acquire skills in math, music, etiquette, cooperation and safety, and develop spatial awareness, improved motor skills, posture, a sense of physical presence and poise to boost self-esteem. Students enrich their knowledge in math, music, history, geography and cultural traditions by learning dances from countries around the world. This journey of cultural discovery through dance will bring delight and community connection to the classroom. Choose from many dance style options and witness a transformation in your classroom community for more connection and joy via the art forms of music and dance. Developed through the John F.
