About the Artist

Peggy is an award-winning teaching artist trained in visual art and textiles. She paints, collages and weaves and has been inspiring students to learn and create since 1995.

Teaching Philosophy

The happy sound of students absorbed in art making; discovering, collaborating and reflecting is what Peggy strives for. Students problem solve through process, understand through imagination and gain confidence through experience.

Program Description

Students make paper weavings, and explore color, pattern and surface design while learning basic skills and vocabulary. Natural Science and Cultural investigations may be included.

Please note: A minimum of 8 sessions per week required.
