Teaching Philosophy

The happy sound of students absorbed in art making; discovering, collaborating and reflecting is what Peggy strives for. She believes students problem solve through process, understand through imagination and gain confidence through experience. Her students explore design basics, experiment, gain skills and learn workflow organization. Her classes encourage curiosity, resiliency and a growth mindset. Ideas and elements are pieced together. Often personal voice and a deeper understanding of classroom learning is found.
