About the Artist

Peggy is an award-winning teaching artist trained in visual art and textiles. She paints, collages and weaves and has been inspiring students to learn and create since 1995.

Teaching Philosophy

The happy sound of students absorbed in art making; discovering, collaborating and reflecting is what Peggy strives for. Students problem solve through process, understand through imagination and gain confidence through experience.

Program Description

Students create individual explorations of color, texture and pattern using recyclables and varied weaving materials. Peggy teaches skills and vocabulary. Workshop projects are multi-dimensional, tactile and fun.

Please note: A minimum of 4 sessions per week required.
